Welcome to Sup Vic Inc.

SUP Vic Inc. was established in April 2009. It all started from a few e-mails between some regular Victorian local Stand Up Paddlers and is now one of the largest SUP clubs in Australia. Our membership stretches across Victoria from as far as Portland to Lakes Entrance, with the majority based in Melbourne.

SUP Vic provides its members with full public liability insurance at all SUP Vic sanctioned events as well as personal accident (standard club membership insurace scheme medical cover). So in the unlikely event of an accident/incident, you can be assured that you and your family won’t be effected financially.

Ok, you now know the basics of what is required for downwinding, it is time to learn to paddle onto and surf bumps! This session will show you how to move on your board to optimise trim, when to paddle and when not to.  The session will take place in a location where there will be waves to catch. This may mean paddling into the wind first. This clinic is only for competent paddlers, using appropriate equipment (including safety gear). Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com  Leg Rope essential. Any person under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the program / activities.  As all our events are weather dependant location may change for your safety and better paddling conditions. Ricketts Point Marine Sanctuary (Parks Victoria)
8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Join us for a Sunday social paddle at Rickets Point Marine Sanctuary. Hosted by Leonie De-Simone and Susan Griska. Don't let the idea of winter take away your love of paddling - winter brings calm water, low winds and the best post paddle hot coffee and catch ups. Booties or no booties that is up to you but make sure you're seen in your club rashie. Access the car park off Beach rd - park at the end furthest from the city. We will launch from the slip of beach next to the Beaumaris lifesaving club. Cuppa & chat after at the rickets point cafe (at the other end of the car park). Meet at 8.30am so allow time to unload your boards, pump up if needed, get your chat on, be ready for the safety briefing and on the water at 9am.      Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com  Leg Rope essential.
