2016 MAD Paddle!

Our biennial fundraising paddle for the Sandringham Hospital is back for the third time, having raised almost $25,000 per year for new equipment. The Mad Paddle is a safe, friendly, non-competitive paddle across the bay (weather permitting) with boat escorts, finishing at Sandringham Yacht Club.

We won't know where it will start until 2 days before - but to give you an idea 4 years ago we started at Mornington and had beautiful, glassy conditions team paddle. 2 years ago we had 15-20knot winds and started from Altona - it was too rough and too short for a team event so everyone individually paddled, but still had our escort boats to look after us. Who know what will happen this time - only the weather gods will know.
