"SURF EVENT WAVE, WIND & WEATHER UPDATE"

Can you feel it in the air? Yeah!

Slight modifications to Sunday's surf event.

With the wind and swell that's forecast to come our way, we've made the call to shift the comp further inside the bay to a sweet little break named "Treloar's"

It's superbly protected from any wind from the west and offers predominantly a right-hander, with the occasional left [Go Goofy's]

We have a massive high tide Sunday, almost 3 metres, so there will be plenty of water over the reef.

The ranger has asked us not to park in the small carpark [see arrow], so please drive in, unload your board and gear [ there will be a marquee set up to house your bags, etc], then park your car at either the parking opposite the General Store [closest] or alternatively at either of the carparks nearest to Crunchies. [Maybe paddle across to the SV area]

Briefing will now be at 9.30am, with the first heat hitting the water shortly after, so be there at 9am.

You now have until 7pm tonight to register, so don't delay.

Please also keep in mind that SV don't have exclusivity to the break, so please be mindful and courteous to other surfers that are in the vicinity.

There are toilets / change facilities there and the nearby General Store for that classic bacon & egg as well as great coffee.
