SUP Vic 2019 Great Melbourne Paddle

This event has something for all the SUP Community. This is a great event to bring your friends and family and introduce them to our sport and our club. There will demo boards, club and hire boards available.
 
Sunday 8 December
* 7:45am Registration confirmation opens- SUP Vic Marquee
* 8:00am Sessions commence
* 8:15am Warm up lap with DJ
* 8:45am Race Briefing (see below)
* 9:00am Race Crew Heat 1
 
Mark the GMP in your diary and purchase your ticket(s) NOW. The program includes:

·       Sprint Race Series - there will be a racing crew series and a social paddler series

  • Social crew - please purchase the appropriate ticket based on the board type you will race with; ie, inflatable of rigid board

·       Kid’s event

·       Pets race - this has been moved from the PPC due to council dog regulations

·       SUP intro sessions for the new and inexperienced paddlers

·       Demo boards, hire or club boards available

·       Beach yoga session

·       Food available at conclusion of the presentations

 
Entry tickets will be available through SUP Vic website from November 18 at 8:00pm. Kids (under 16 years) are free and we have access to boards for the kids and a kid's course.
 
This event is for all - SUP Vic members and non-members alike.
 
IMPORTANT. PLEASE NOTE:
  • Race Crew races will be run STRICTLY according to SUP Vic Race Rules. Please acquaint yourself with SUP Vic race rules on the SUP Vic website under 'WHAT WE DO', 'SUP Vic Rules of Racing'. These rules will be enforced by the race Marshall.
  • For safety reasons, all SUP Vic races and events require paddlers wear a leg rope.
