SUP Surf comps Info ,Zoom session

This year we have some great SUP Surfing comps on the calendar .

There are club comps, State and SUP Nationals later in the year in our home turf .

We are keen to see more at all these comps ,do well and have a fabulous experience.

Hence

We will be running a SUP Surf Zoom session to help you have some insights into how to do better at these events.

Topics will include but not limited to

How does Judging work, and what will I be judged on

What is the best strategy for me?

What can I do prior competition to be fully ready

How do I best asses the conditions of the location of the comp

 

Our good friends @surfing Vic are keen to see our sport and our club grow and will be sending  Cahill Bell-Warren  our way for this Zoom Session . Cahill  is the Surfing Victoria High Performance Coaching Director and we thank him for his time and input.

Ex top 100 WQS competitor,

2014 Rip Curl Pro Trials Champion.

Coached at State, National, WQS and WCT Level.

Victorian Junior Surfing Team Coach, who won the Overall State Title in 2019 for the first ever time, at the Australian Junior Surfing Titles at Margaret River, WA.

Coached Carissa Moore to Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach titles in 2014 and 2015.

 

Cahill will be sharing his input on how to do better at SUP Surf comps but he is also looking for yr questions on this topic .

He will also be working our SUP Surf Guru ,Super Dammo

 

To help us stay organised questions will need to be in the Monday before the zoom session and no questions on the night.
