The temperature is rising and so are the water levels. Gippsland social paddle is happening at Blue Rock Dam. Hosted by Anita Pither
Picture rolling mountains, blue skies, flat water, a gentle breeze, birds chirping and fish jumping.
Now that you're all picturing it, I'm sure we can manifest these conditions.
Meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the Blue Rock Picnic Area (near the playground), and on the water for 9:00 a.m.
This paddle is suitable for new and experienced paddlers, so bring your friends and family along. Depending on the conditions we will either head towards the dam wall or take a scenic paddle up the Tanjil River.
Coffee afterwards at Willow Grove General Store.
This falls on a long weekend, and during school holidays, so why not make a day or weekend of it and see what else Latrobe Valley has to offer. There are some amazing restaurants and cafes, National Parks, nature reserves, and historic attractions in the area.
