"How to" Sup Surf Clinic

So, you love SUP but think back to those first visions of how you percieved the sport and my guess is "I want to ride that wave!"

To many, learning how to paddle onto a wave and ride it is the "Holy Grail" of SUP.

Well, if you're a competent novice/intermediate paddler and dreaming about unlocking the code to what it takes to "Go Surfing", then here's your opportunity.

This Surf Clinic won't take you from "Zero to Hero" but what it's designed to achieve is showing you the ropes of how to become a confident Sup Surfer.

What we'll cover in this clinic is

- reading & predicting weather/swell forecasts

- locations, tides and conditions

- observing & recognising waves & hazards

- surf etiquette [super important]

- catching "that wave" & reading the conditions

- footwork, paddling skills, surf technique

- gear recommendations.

This clinic is limited to 5 people to ensure a high level of personal attention. 

Any hard board is suitable, a wetsuit is essential as is a passion to progress through having a bag load of fun!

This will be an action packed "Half Day" clinic that will put sup surfing at the top of your list!

Any person under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the duration of the program / activities. 

As all our events are weather dependant location may change for your safety and better paddling conditions. Email will be sent to all ticket holders if location changes.

This event will be photographed and images may be used in promotional material for SUPVIC. If you do not want your image used, please speak with the host of the event.
