29-05-2026 5:00 PM – 31-05-2026 12:00 PM
Hands Down this is definitely the most popular SV Social since it's inception way back in 2010. [As captured in the photo] Our last one was in 2024 and people who came along are still raving about it. "What is it?" Quite simply, it's an opportunity to pack the car, camping gear and Sup quiver, hit the road for a couple of days and bag as many waves as possible [without dropping in]. Sound good?? Then don't deliberate, go ahead and book your event ticket and campsite.  Ingenia Holidays Inverloch Foreshore | Caravan Park Inverloch | Ingenia Holiday Parks After a good Saturday saltwater fix, we'll head to the Espy Pub for dinner and get together.  Bookings are essential, so the sooner you commit, the less chance you have of missing out. A group booking will be made 10 days prior, first in, best dressed. We can't guarantee a seat for any late-comers. Esplanade Hotel Inverloch What to pack?? Inverloch provides excellent paddling opportunities for flatwater cruising, Bop and full tilt waveriding. You choose!  Pack as many boards as you have to cover all bases. Pack your full rubber wardrobe, [nobody enjoys jumping back into a soggy, cold wettie] Pack the camping quiver for one or two nights. [keep it simple]   Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com  Leg Rope essential. GT Memorial Paddle

8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Our wonderful club has been incredibly fortunate over the years to have had dedicated individuals who have represented, nurtured, and led from the front. One of those remarkable volunteers—like everyone in our club, giving their time purely out of commitment—was the long standing past president, George “GT” Thomas. GT passed away suddenly three years ago, leaving our Sup Vic community shocked and deeply saddened. The club was a huge part of his life, and now, each year we come together for a memorial paddle to honour and celebrate his contribution and legacy. This annual memorial paddle will be held at one of GT’s favourite spots—his beloved “God’s Country.” Join us to remember GT, share stories, catch some waves, and paddle together in his spirit. The event fee includes a post-paddle gourmet BBQ and a donation to the “Heart Matters” charity. And as GT said don’t forget to bring 5 friends along! This paddle is open to current and past members, good friends and everyone inbetween. GT would want you there - book your ticket NOW!   #take3forthesea   Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com  Leg Rope essential. Autumn Surf Social

Okay, who's been watching the WSL Bells Beach event?   If you have (like me) then it gets your juices flowing to go and ride a wave. Surfing your Sup is still widely regarded as the pinnacle of our sport.  This "Social" could be either the Sat 18th or Sun 19th, wholly dependent upon the swell/wind forecast.    The event will be called on the Wednesday prior.   As a surfer, you have to be patient & flexible in order to hunt out the best conditions.   As usual, it's a case of "Any board works"  If it's "On" then naturally a surf sup is preferable. If it's a small swell with little peelers, then a Bop Style approach is the go!     Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com  Leg Rope essential. Can you picture yourself here???   Without doubt, the most euphoric feeling of Sup is riding a bump [or wave!]   Bumps/Wind/Chop.........oddly enough can be your friend and best paddling training tool to catching that first "Glide"   This "Social" is not designed to look at starfish, search for dolphins, take photos of sunrises or sunsets or paddle on your knees.    Nope, it's about elevating the HR, paddling into the wind to then be rewarded by that ridiculously fun DW run back to the beach.    Be prepared to get wet, slightly challenge yourself and change the way you think about your paddling!   Location will be decided on the Thursday prior. Likely locations will be anywhere between Edithvale to Half Moon Bay.           Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com  Leg Rope essential. "Sup Foil Fantasy Clinic"
Beaumaris Bay
01-04-2026 8:00 AM – 30-04-2026 12:00 PM
Seeing is believing. Actually doing it is one of the most surreal sup experiences you'll encounter. Sup Foil first hit our shores around 2017 and was incredibly difficult to learn due to the lack of dedicated boards and rudimentary foil set ups.  With the rapid development of foil & board design, it's become somewhat easier to learn, but the art of flying the foil still remains the most difficult part. This clinic will be a boat assisted session [not a paddle in sight] to allow you to learn & achieve sustained and controlled flight.  Post tow session will include a gear rundown, flatwater paddle session & include paddle/footwork tips to help get you started. This clinic is limited to just 4 people to help maximise your time on [above!] the water. You must be an advanced/efficient paddler & competent sup surfer to consider this clinic.

8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
We all love paddling in a straight line, but eventually you'll have to turn the corner to head back to your start point.   "Turns!" Here's a Clinic for the intermediate to adv-intermediate paddler looking to unlock the mystery behind excecuting that perfect turn in all conditions [ not just flat water ]. This comprehensive session will teach you to explore all of that deck area behind the centre of your board whilst combining footwork with correct blade work. It's an ideal time of year to perfect your turns, as the water is warm [yes, you will be going in!] and the location will be relatively shallow.        Let's turn your board into a "Dance Floor!"    Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com  Leg Rope essential.
