Spring Social Surf Sesh #2
6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
"Dawn Patrol" The favoured catchcry of the dedicated surfer. There's nothing quite like paddling out in the cloak of dawn to greet/worship the sunrise. It also means fewer crowds which equals more waves! [Except if it's absolutely pumping and the carpark is filling from 5.30am] That's the theme for our next Sup Vic Surf Social. Why you ask?? Tides largely determine when and where we can go to find a wave. The location will be determined and broadcast Thursday 7th November. Phillip Island, Inverloch & Mornington Peninsula are all in the mix. This will be our last surf social for 2024. The onset of Summer sees swelling, crowded breaks not conducive for group sessions. So here's your chance to meet the crew, get a few tips and launch into a few waves. Mark the date in your diary, book your tickets and looking forward to sharing the stoke with the SV membership.        Social paddles included in SUPVIC financial membership https://supvic.tidyhq.com Leg Rope essential. Spring Surf Sesh #1
Phillip Island
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
"Spring!" To a surfer, Spring means the onset of longer days, longer swells & waves for days. We'll be cracking out our 3rd Surf Social for 2024 & judging by the smiles & stoke factor from our previous sessions, these events are proving to be a massive amount fun and popular for novices & experienced alike. The session will aim to educate the novice paddlers and allow them to gain confidence in the ocean, whilst allowing the more experienced surfers to exploit the waves they desire. Due to the changeable conditions in swell & wind the actual location and time will be confirmed on Thursday 19th September after 5pm. The general area we'll go with again will be anywhere between Phillip Island and Inverloch. There is always a wave to be found between these locations. As usual, this event is totally free for all financial Sup Vic members. Any non-members can will need to register for a ticket and if they decide to join prior to the day/event, I will have their member included paddle rashie top ready to hand over! Member benefits also include the use of club boards, [not for this social event], insurance, all social paddles [including this one!] and discounted entry to Sup Vic events.
