The Inverloch weekend is a surf oriented social event which has been going now for 6 years.   Uptodate information - make sure you log onto the FB event page - https://www.facebook.com/events/1153675074684061/   It’s a chance to introduce new people to surf and allow them to try out demo boards from a few shops that bring their fleet down.   There is no official surf comp, more of a general expression session with prizes awarded at the end of the weekend to the standout surfers.   There will be BOP races on the Naish Nisco boards this year which will be run in and out through the surf if conditions are right. If the surf is too rough it would be moved to the inlet.  This is not to be missed as it is so much fun on the blowup boards.   There will be a BBQ Saturday night (food and drinks are provided) at the SupVic house for everyone.   You must be a member to participate, for insurance purposes, but a day membership can be purchased

Our biennial fundraising paddle for the Sandringham Hospital is back for the third time, having raised almost $25,000 per year for new equipment. The Mad Paddle is a safe, friendly, non-competitive paddle across the bay (weather permitting) with boat escorts, finishing at Sandringham Yacht Club. We won't know where it will start until 2 days before - but to give you an idea 4 years ago we started at Mornington and had beautiful, glassy conditions team paddle. 2 years ago we had 15-20knot winds and started from Altona - it was too rough and too short for a team event so everyone individually paddled, but still had our escort boats to look after us. The next in the SUPVIC surf series – Morington Peninsula ocean beaches (precise venue to be confirmed). Get yourself tuned for the State Titles in April.  Back up date is Saturday 5th March.

All boards are provided and included in the entry cost.    With the 2016 Naish Nisco Worlds to be held in Australia later this year, this could be the best way to tune up for them!
