THE 2016  GREAT MELBOURNE PADDLE (GMP) Entering into its 7th year the GMP is on again, bigger and better than ever! A family event incorporating almost everything you need in a day of paddling. The first event to kick off the day will be the Survivor Series...a paddle around a set coarse involving a process of illimination (this is not necessarily the survival of the fittest), are you a SURVIVOR? INFLATABLE RELAY.....will be just that.  Get you buddies together, form a team, see who you can outwit! You will be very surprised who will cross the line first! GIANT SUP TUG-O-WAR....Teams will be selected on the day, so just stick your hand up and go in for the laugh....teenagers love this event so make sure you include them on this awesome day. CLINIC & BOARD DEMO'S....FREE clinics and board demo's will be available throughout the day, so if you have never had a go on a board or would like to advance your ability, this one is for you.  So don't be shy and ask to try one of the many boards that will be on display. 10 Foot SURF Comp A first in Victoria ! Optional open category.

Hi all Update on the re scheduled surf event to be held this weekend at Pt Impossible , with the recent rain and more on the way the road to pt impossible is still closed , unfortunately we have to cancel the event due to the road being closed . If you have paid the entry fee the club will refund your money , once again thanks for your support over the winter surf events , We will look at running another winter series next year and hopefully we can include pt impossible again . There is still one more surf event on the calendar which will be run on the 15/16 October at pt Leo 10 ft class plus a regular class hope to see you there thanks damo

Raffle tickets on sale $5.00 each. Michael Jenkins is a very talented artist and paddler and has offered two magnificent works of art to be raffled on Sunday. All proceeds go in aid of helping the Victorian Sup Champions complete Nationally in Western Australia. If you can't make it, you can purchase online (just like you do for events).

The SUPVIC Annual General Meeting for 2016 will be held at Hobson's Stores, 19-21 Melrose Street Sandringham. 5pm for a 5:30 start, pre-meeting drinks (beer & wine) served from 5:00-5:30. Please book ahead (for catering and seating purposes - no charge).
