The GMP returns to Green Point, Brighton!   It's gettin' close.... ***Registrations Now Open*** Now in it's 6th year, this iconic SUPVIC event returns to Green Point, Brighton bigger and better than ever!  Just Some of the Highlights: *A pre-race stretching/yoga session courtesy of Lulu Lemon Brighton (and yoga during the day); *Special International guest and Legend of SUP all the way from MAUI - Jeremy Riggs (courtesy of SHQ/SIC); *An amazing array of the latest boards to demo from Naish, Fanatic, SIC, Sunny King, RedPaddleCo, NSP/DC, DEEP, GSI, JetOceanSports, LahuiKai and more with retailers and reps from all the major brands on hand for professional advice on all things SUP. *Fun racing in an all inclusive series of short course races [2kms] based on the successful "Survivor" format, suited to paddlers of all abilities and board styles. *Giant SUP Drag Races and Tug-o-War! **And if that's not enough eye-popping action for you, following the GMP, there will be the annual SUPVIC XMAS PARTY with SUP'N Santa and GMP presentation immediately after in the park/rotunda at Green Pt , right above the beach** So what are you waiting for? The Merimbula Classic Thursday 26th - Sunday 29th November 2015 After last year's epic event, the organisers are preparing for another Classic at Merimbula to celebrate a water fest of kite surfing, sup boarding and wave sailing. This will be the 35th year of this contest and it is shaping up to big bigger and better than ever ... could that be possible?  SO mark the dates, tune your boss for your annual leave and get your act together to be there .. or be square.  It'sTime to dig out that old school blazer, the oh-so-short school tunic and of course the grey shorts, the cap and the old school tie. If it's good enough forChrissie Amphlett and Angus Young, well, it's certainly good enough for us I mean they knew how to rock! And so do we.... and so do YOU ! We have a great band lined up for Saturday night that is guaranteed to rock your stockings off on . Only those suitably attired will be admitted... The bell will be rungto start these 4 days of mayhem at 10am Thursday 26th Novemberat MSC headquarters, main beach Merimbula. You will be dismissed after assembly on Sunday afternoon. (But only if you are not kept in for detention..... you may not be allowed to go home.... oh no!) More details soon.

Hey all members and friends of SUPVIC – a window of opportunity has opened up and we have JUMPED right through it. It’s a bit short notice but we (your club committee, through the hard work of our very own Super-Damo) will be running a SURF EVENT on Saturday 24h October on the Mornington Peninsula. 07:30 Registration 08:00 kickoff Meet Pt Leo Carpark. This will be a FUN and FRIENDLY comp for SUP surfers of ALL ages, levels and shoe sizes. Emphasis on participation and good times, no sheep stations involved. There may even be sausages. Put it in your diaries, more details to come very soon.
