Winter Surf Social #1
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Time to suit up & hit the waves!
Our first Winter Surf/Social is Saturday 6th July.
Ideally suited for novice to intermediate sup surfers looking to surf a new location along with some of our club's experienced paddlers.
The location will be anywhere between Phillip Island to Inverloch. This allows us to choose from a variety of beaches to suit most wind/wave conditions. Allow approximately 90 minutes traveling time from Metro Melbourne.
The actual location will be decided & communicated after 7pm Thursday 4th July once the forecast has been released. We'll be monitoring the forecast the week before & will be keeping a close eye on it.
It's recommended that you pack your quiver, as we could be doing anything from a Bop session to surfing a beach, reef or point break.
Stay Tuned!!

Social Paddle and AGM
Chelsea Yacht Club Inc
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
The 2024 SUP VIC Annual General Meeting has been scheduled for Sunday May 26th at 4pm, location Chelsea Yacht Club.
We are paddlers, and we decided we should not come together as a group without getting on the water- this is just what we do! So let's have a social paddle directly before the AGM, meet in the Yacht Club car park at 2pm, on the water 2.30pm, off the water 3.30pm AGM start 4pm (NB: no shower facilities available on the day).
Chelsea Yacht Club has kindly offered to open the bar for us and drinks available after the social paddle and during the AGM.
The AGM requires that a quorum of 10% of active members who are eligible to vote are present, either physically or by proxy. Please refer to email sent by Jeff Cornehls (22/04/24) for the Proxy form if unable to attend.
Volunteering, committee and helping out - We have a small but dedicated committee, and we need more help so we can continue to build and grow our sport, and continue to put on the events that the members are demanding. Many hands make light work, and there is lots of work to be done. SUP VIC needs new general committee and subcommittee members. If you can spare a little time, please put your hand up to help out. Please reach out to me or any of the other committee members if you would like further information, or simply turn up to the AGM and volunteer.
I hope to see you there.
IMPORTANT:
Any person under the age of 18 attending an event must have a parent or guardian present for the full duration of the event.
By attending this event site you agree to being filmed or photographed which may be used on social media, and for club marketing or promotional purposes.
SUP VIC events do not happen by themselves. I want to acknowledge the hard work of the SUP VIC Committee this year- thanks Team!
